I’m Ken Pruitt, a Southern California native and the owner of Reverse Lending Solutions, proudly serving clients throughout Southern California and beyond. My career path wasn’t a straight line—at 21, I thought I’d become an English teacher. Instead, I entered the mortgage industry in 1991, earned a degree in Business, and discovered my true calling: educating people about personal finance and guiding them through some of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

My first full-time role at Wells Fargo, opening new accounts at age 19, shaped everything that came after. I’ll never forget the day a couple walked in with a check for more than $100,000 from a lottery win and asked me how to invest it. That moment of trust is a big part of why I’m still passionate about this work today.

Over the past three decades, I’ve encountered just about every scenario in the lending world. While patterns repeat, every client’s situation is unique—and that’s what keeps this work meaningful.

Service and helping others are values instilled in me early. I’ve coached Special Olympics for more than 10 years, and the athletes I’ve worked with have taught me lessons far beyond anything I could give back.
